SCS newsletter musing week 4

There is a wonderful story recorded in the second chapter of Luke where a young Jesus goes missing and his parents find him sitting in the temple courts giving ‘amazing answers’ to the learned religious leaders.

When I have the chance to leave the office and head into the classrooms I always arrive back feeling rejuvenated and often amazed at what students are achieving.

The 3/4 class is currently completing and wonderful unit on the topic of ‘old and new’. I have enjoyed watching the students put together projects in various formats. Some of the boys were completing their project using the iPads on an app called Pic Collage. I had not used the program but was keen to have them teach me. In a few minutes they taught me to be an expert.

It was a joy as a teacher to be taught by those boys and am sure the students of SCS have such more to teach me. I look forward to learning as they learn.

Blessings
